ones who make my heart rejoice

By now the regular readers of this blog are probably familiar with most of these faces, so I won't go through and name them all.

But, ten points to the person who can figure out the name of one of the people in the last picture. Fifty points to the person who can tell me both names!

The blessings of community, family, friends, and an academic and spiritual tradition abound. What spontaneous joy and deep gratitude these faces inspire!

Hey Sara!
Here's to attempt #2 at dropping a note to your page here.
I ran into your blog and figured I better leave a note since I just might be one of the few people you know who might actually have the names to that last photo. I suppose it might be cheating though, since I believe I might have even been in the same room as those two powerhouse-minds when the photo was taken. Hmm. Better keep my mouth shut then and I will just have to check back to see if anyone else takes a go at it. Hint: One Major connection = Vrije Universiteit

Happy studying, chatting, working. Hope your week in the big city is a GREAT one!

Carolyn, I wish they were related to us! On the left, with the beard, is Hank Hart, an emeritus professor at ICS. On the right, the charming Dutch fellow is Bob Goudzwaard, former MP in the Netherlands and insightful author and speaker. Check out his latest co-authored book, "Hope in Troubled Times".

Oh, you answered before I could :) I had no idea who Hart was, but Goudzwaard was just in Edmonton. Am I right in thinking that he was at Dordt our senior year as well?
