so I finally succumbed to the big bad blog.

I did it at last. After receiving so many notices that everyone I know has started a blog, I decided to follow suit. I'm new at this, but I'll try not to be all forcefully philosophical...

Before I go on, I need to give credit where credit is due. My dear friend Ann gave me the title for my blog, while furiously working away at her editing job for the Diamond. Thank you, Ann, my almost-English major roomie!
